Meet Guy (he sucks)

Guy Lorin Reschenthaler is a Republican politician “representing” Pennsylvania’s 14th Congressional District, since 2019. Gaining recognition from his time serving in the Pennsylvania State Senate (from 2015-2019), Reschenthaler advocated for the traditional conservative notions of cutting taxes (proportionately for corporations), defunding public services, and supporting polluters. Reschenthaler’s priorities have not been the people of PA-14, rather he prioritizes an open pathway for corporations to increase their own profit at the expense of his constituents and the environment.

Since his time in the PA State Senate, Guy has claimed he is “fighting for his people;” however, with his recent stark support for HR1 aka “One Big Beautiful Bill,” Guy is putting 18,640 individuals at risk of losing Medicaid and 11,071 individuals at risk of losing SNAP benefits.

So, like, where IS he?

It’s been over five years, and Rep. Guy Reschenthaler still hasn’t held a single public, in-person town hall in Pennsylvania’s 14th District. While constituents across Fayette, Washington, Greene, and Westmoreland counties wait patiently for their elected representative to show up and answer their questions, Guy has gone full ghost mode.
